Good AM4 Motherboards?

Looking for some good motherboards for my future Ryzen build, but I'm having trouble deciding on what I should get, what would be some good X370, B450 and B350 boards? (X470 is outside my budget right now)

The Asus X370 Crosshair VI is at the top of your budget at $180, but a great motherboard. It's the only one I have owned but I have also heard good things about MSI boards as well.

 

I think that any MSI B450/350/X370 or Asus B450/350/X370 will server you well.

depending on location, you might get lucky & find a X470 in budget, I just came across a used Gigabyte X470 Aorus Ultra Gaming for $100 Canadian locally on local classifieds, only possible barrier to get it is transportation, if I'm lucky enough to get it though It'll be paired with a $100 Canadian Ryzen 3 1200 or 2200G then it's just a matter or finding a good deal on DDR4 RAM. It will be replaceing a i5-2500k that needs a motherboard.

Greetings fellow user of AMD Athlon 860k (mine is 760k but eh XD). As a guy having even a bit slower hardware than you, I feel your pain and will share with you my new ryzen build.

Asrock Killer SLI x370

1 stick 8 Gigs 3000 MHz some kind of DDR4 Ram.

Around the time I bought (in February) this was ~500 euro and so far it was rock solid (except the stupid ryzen ram speed bugs, but that got fixed in later BIOS updates).

i quite like my asus prime x370 pro. i have the bios updated to 1803 so it can do the 2000 series cpus. i got it for 120$ as an open box but it's usually 140$ i think

I used the MSI B450M Gaming in a build recently, and it worked great. Spent just under $80 USD.

 

Do you need onboard WiFi? Lots of SATA devices? Any reason you're not looking at MicroATX?

Well, full sized ATX looks better IMO also given I have a mid tower ATX case and the mATX inside looks rather weird. Also, I'd imagine a full sized ATX has better VRMs, also no, I will never use wi-fi.
