Laptop Secondary Graphics Issue

Hi Guys,

So my laptop has something in it which only uses the base intel graphics (Intel HD 530) for simple tasks, and only switches to the NVIDIA (GeForce GTX 960M) graphics chip when it wants to.

I bought 3DMARK. Ran it on the laptop. Getting around 9fps! I assume that's because of the above 'feature'. Or, my i7 MSI Gaming laptop is just shit!

So, how would i go about letting 3DMARK run the NVIDIA graphics, not the intel chip?

Laptop is the MSI GE72 6QC APACHE.

Official Website > https://www.msi.com/Laptop/GE72-6QC-Apache.html#hero-overview

Benchmark Results:

Time Spy Extreme: (Warned me that my hardware might not run it):

Graphics Score: 492

CPU Score: 1388

Thanks,

Dragonfyr

Couldn't find a setting in 3DMARK to change which GPU it tests.

Thanks, great help :)

Had to use this site instead (https://www.techadvisor.co.uk/how-to/pc-components/how-set-default-graphics-card-3612668/) as the other one seemed like it was created for a specific software (serato).

Test results on laptop:
Sky Diver

Graphics: 14496

Physics: 8090

Max fps: 135.17

Going to run again after some system tweaking. Running on main pc shortly.

Thanks again :)
