Specs:

CPU: Ryzen 3 1300x

GPU: Zotac GTX 1050 TI

RAM: 2x4GB DDR4 2400MHZ Crucial Ballistix

HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB

CASE: Fractal Design Focus G

MOBO: Gigabyte B350 Gaming 3

WIFI CARD: Some Chinese thing

I have added a RGB strip since these photos and managed the cables as best as I could. The RGB strip is just some chinese usb rgb strip I found at the store for $8, that happened to have a four pin connector. Sorry for bad resolution photos. I have dropped my phone some many times the camera us broken and shakes ( you can kind of see it in the second photo ) and has stuff in it which you can see on the top of the first photo.

 

 

Future Upgrades and Mods:

 

I plan to add a sort of psu shroud between the psu and the hard drive to cover up the cables there. I want to also add a cover for all the cables on the right side. Cable management is hard in this case because there isn't much space to hide cables and the space behind the motherboard tray and the rear panel is so slim.

 

I also plan to add a GTX 1070 in the future, and get a 1440p monitor. Right now I have a 1920x1080 monitor at 60hz.

Really no SSD? For how nice this build is you ought to slap even a cheap one in there as your next upgrade (trust me it's a night and day difference)

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad

Eh. I don't think it's worth the investment to have things load faster. Maybe it will be an investment in the future if I come across the money.

It's also good to keep stuttering away, since some games actually have worse performance on an SSD (Pretty case by case though, not really to be expected). Have you used a system with an SSD? It makes quite a star difference in overall usability in a PC, not just game load times.

I have not used a system with a SSD. I'll think about getting one.

I wasn't into the whole new fangled SSD thing until 2017.  Ill never spin up apps on a mechanical drive again.  Those are for media and entertainment only now lol.  The difference is...I load up Windows 10 in ~17 seconds ready to roll.

UPDATE:

I have designed the PSU shroud for in between the PSU and the hard drive. It's just supposed to cover up cords. It mounts into screw holes at the bottom of the case. I will update again when I 3D print it.

I designed them in Solidworks and if anyone has the Focus G, I can supply the files.

I used my computer for a year before getting a SSD.
Now I'll never build a computer without one.
Also, nice graphics card. I've never seen a white one before.
