I just ordered a Ryzen 7 2700X plus this motherboard. I also need some new RAM and have been looking into it.

Honestly, I ended up more confused than informed, with all the talk about Ryzen having specific RAM that works well with it and all that.

Now I need your help, what 16GB RAM Kit will work well with the Motherboard I've linked + the Ryzen 7 2700X. If possible, linked from this store.

Thanks guys!

Any of these should be fine I think.

Ps.: Please share your experience with that board. I'm looking into getting one as well.

With ryzen, the main thing to consider is dual channel and ram speed. So, for 16gb of ram, you'd want 2 sticks of 8gb, and the ram being high speeds (above 3000 is the best).

All Ryzen compatible ones , Hope this helps bro . i assume you'll only select the from the value option since you chose a rather budget mobo. i expect the other components to be on par with that as well.

Details separate people.

So basically anything with 3200+ MHz? Does timing matter much, since the recommended RAM from AMD is a CL14?

just look up the value ones, or if you're planning to OC`ing the snot out of it, then you must spend more & refine from that list.  direct search to google should bring you up to the product page & specs chart.  it's gonna take an hour . but will be worth it .

I've been at it for about 2 hours, I think one more won't hurt. :P

Make sure to get good ram like G.Skill - Ripjaws V Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR4-3200 Memory. Since Ryzen loves ram.

The faster the better but that board only goes as far as 3466MHz. I'm not sure how much timings matter with Ryzen but, the ones I linked were CL16 or more.

Here's the list of CL14 RAM:

So I checked the MB compatibility list, and it says these ones are compatible. But the list has me a little confused once again, cause it says SIDE: SINGLE.

What exactly does that mean?

Dimms are found on one side of the ram stick , technically it's supposed to perform better.

Alright then, guess I'll go with that kit, since it's on the list of compatible RAM and 3200Mhz with CL14. Sounds like the perfect match for the Ryzen.
