I've actually fixed a cpu with this video. I used a mechanical pencil to bend crooked pins back into place :)

I did the same with my 8320 when it came out of the socket as I removed the stock cooler and it bented 3 pins. Works perfectly now.

Just to update, the CPU is fine. At least i suppose, I sold it without testing it. However the buyer has not issued a refund nor complaints about it and its been about three-four days since it arrived at his shipping address. I guess its safe to assume it works just fine. And while i feel bad for not testing it prior to selling it, I did make refunding an option for said reason.

yeah youll be fine, i dropped my Phenom when i build my first pc and bunt pins, but i bent them back and it worked just fine, they are solid and have no moving parts so nothing can really break
