I had always planned to put the 1080's on water but didn't have the money to get into it. It'd be my first water cooling build too ?

the 2 1080's and the vega are all packed into my 900D, I have the Vega vertically mounted in front of the 1080's with a few inches of space, but it's better than having them all stacked on top of each other.

? Wow that’s a beast of a chassis but still a dense cluster of heat.  How are your GPU temps fairing? Are you getting a hit on your CPU Temp from the additional heat load?

Hello, hope everyone is doing well.

Got a question. I have a EVGA 980ti FTW card. When it is pushed hard it goes to 1379gpu and 3752mem. When i fold it drops to 1379 and 3304*P2 state i guess*but even if i Kboost it to lock it to the higher mem clocks they still drop as soon as folding starts. Any ideas? Thank you for your time

Tomerrs seems to have cooled down a bit to a steady 8.5 million PPD after producing almost 10 million PPD on the 5th

Either @King Poet has had some sunny cool weather to help him with his a/c and solar issues or he’s just decided to give a nice early present to the Electricity provider down under and is now producing around 7.2 Million PPD

@_Rlocke has bubbled up in the production and looks like will finish the day above 7 million PPD

Linus must have noticed some cards missing and LMG_Jakkuh has dropped to around 3.5 million PPD from the 6.5 he was at.

I’m producing just a bit over 3 million PPD. That chrome book running NaCl must have done the trick!

@Dissitesuxba11s is hot on my tail at just under 3 million PPD

@Ben Quigley is purring along at around 2.5 million PPD

@porina just keeps swimming along at 2 million PPD

@palespartan is just under 2 million PPD and is in hot competition with @DUW1G1T @Cereal5 @Yabdat and maybe a few others bubbling up through the ranks.

Now that registrations closed with the final list of participants we’ve got the statistics gathering automated and once @Ben Quigley puts the final touches on the spreadsheet we’ll be able to get the updates out very quickly.

Keep on Folding!

Well I might have screwed up my production for today's update but made some big changes on the same hardware.

Saw this talked about on the WAN show Friday, and I figured I'd join in since F@H is what originally brought me to the forum years ago. Most of my hardware is dated now, but it should still be worth something.

Dang, I fell out of the top 100.

Don’t fret about your current ranking. Play the long game. Keep an eye on your rigs. Don’t get too aggressive with overclocking. People will get bored, hardware will fail. Compete with your neigbours and remember there’s still the random draws for participants.

Question to fellow folders ruining with RX480 cards.

How far have you pushed your card?

I am currently running core at 1340MHz with 1040mV and memory at 8800Mhz. I think that I could push this card further but increasing core voltage will probably make temps shoot trough the roof as its now hovering at 64C with auto fans at around 40%.

Hmm. I'm not getting WUs via the regular client either. Also folding as anonymous on nacl doesn't get me WUs. Wonder if I'm blocked in some way or their servers are acting up again... this is weird. I've tried on 3 machines now and it looks like there will be no folding for me :(

I run my RX 580 at what it was out of the box, aka 1411 MHz. Haven't tried OCing it myself

I haven't added any new hardware... yet... but all cards are folding on their own systems now. and added my cpu to the mix. Maybe I should take another look for that 660 I have laying around somewhere...

So this is on a ASUS Tai Chi 2 in 1 currently running a 14055WU with 21 1/2 hours left to get 13,149 points.

I only noticed because she who must be obeyed started inquiring where the power brick for her chromebook was. This was the eldest member of the Horde's old laptop which they trashed the connector on their power brick on and discovered that the one for mom's chromebook worked.

So now it is running full-tilt on battery with a pending update.

What could possibly go wrong.

My internet works fine otherwise. I have also set the firewall to allow everything on all machines. Still no WUs

Even with a new account. No failed WUs but none at all. It says ready for cpu and gpu on the client but always keeps retrying and never gets work. Anything else I can try? :/

Hmm ... not very familiar with the NaCl client. I just have it running on a single chromebook. Hopefully someone else will chime in or take a look over at The Official Folding Forum

Even on the full client it's not working... Thanks for your help anyways :)

@Ben Quigley @Cereal5 Just putting the info out. So under inspector i am in P2. Cant seem to find where to lock to P0, But under the P2 state overclock page i can move the slider over to get back up to 3705 mem clock.

Also looking at my card i think i have have the switch for the duel bios in the factory not OC position the whole time i have owned the card ?

? Wow that’s a beast of a chassis but still a dense cluster of heat.  How are your GPU temps fairing? Are you getting a hit on your CPU Temp from the additional heat load?

I have an AIO on my CPU set as intake, I try to focus the airflow to keep the CPU/VRM area cool.

With everying going at once my CPU is around 60C, and all 3 GPU's are between 65-70C. The 1080 FE fans are at 100% and the cards have a power limit set to 70%, the Vega is at stock Vega 64 clocks and power limit, and the fans are at about 90%.

Noise canceling headphones are very handy ?

Nice - you've got the temps nicely under control using the power limits

Hmm. I've only see this after a driver or OS update or after I've moved cards around. Sometime a reboot helps but I imagine you've already tried that. Tried uninstalling then re-installing the client yet?

Great job team, we currently have 1300 active users !!

On a side note, looks like servers like to give my computers cpu some long term jobs. Current cpu job estimated: 18 hours 46 mins until completed :)

I’m debating whether or not I can push my memory OC higher in P2. currently im at +500 (5000 MHz, which is stock speed in P0) and I’ve had no problems so I’ll have to try pushing it a couple hundred higher to see if I can just manually give it more clock speed lol... probably not the best idea cause one day it’ll randomly switch back to P0 and crash probably

Well guys, it has been a hectic 48 hours but I'm back baby! First off I just want to say sorry about the update yesterday, Sometimes life just gets in the way and that's exactly what happened in the end.

We have Tomerrs sitting in first place with a whopping 54.7million points, king poet is in second with 48.6 million point and Jakkuh is in third with 33.4million points. In 4th place we have _Rlocke with 25.9million, in 5th is Dissitesuxba11s with 23million. Gorgon finds himself in 6th with 23million then we have Ben Quigley with 21.7million. Porina is looking comfortable in 8th place with 19.4milion. Palespartan is holding onto 9th with 16.9million points, he is followed by Cereal5 who has managed to rack up 14.5mililon points.

Invaderzim and Yabdat both have 11.7million and are fighting it out for their chance to challenge the top 10, TVwazhere is holding onto 13th with just shy of 10million, Powelljl is around 300k behind him and closing in, Willhemmings is in 15th with around 9million points, RollinLower has 8.7million. Stijnman and Cagedanimalz both are around the 8.5million point mark and are fighting it out for 17th. DW225 is in 19th withdrthinder right behind with only 100k seperation.

It has to be said the mighty @Tomerrs looks undefeatable by this point,  The king looks to be pulling ahead of Jakkuh, @_Rlocke has really put those new cards to work and finds himself challenging Jakkuh for the podium. @Ben Quigley is managing to hold onto his top10 spot for the time being. @palespartan looks capable of pushing up a place or two if everything keeps the way it is now.

Guys, With the points being collated automatically we may see some strange numbers for the first day or so while we work through it, please bare withis, if you think your TOTAL points are wrong please get in contact, otherwise enjoy the post and keep trucking along.

The overall team has seen yet another boost up to 145million points, lets keep trying to get the most out of our rigs we at this rate we are looking at a 1,000,000,000 point week(as tracked by EOC).

Please remember we have minimum participation requirements, these are 100k points, 15WUs, and 15 days of having activity over the course of the whole month.

Thanks for everyone who is involved in this event, it really should make you all proud. We collectively produced 96,573,990 this update, well done people.

Happy folding,

Ben

I somehow went from 14th to like 68th I'm not sure why or if the algorithm that you are using has changed.
