Same, yesterday Windows pulled a FU and BSoD'd itself into oblivion and forced the windows update I've been holding back since summer  Luckily I was trying to do something and watch it suicide itself into oblivion... Lost what I was doing however...

Anyone know anything about WU 14124? It seems to be about 2-3 times longer than a normal 17000 WU, but gives about 2.5x credit.

I have seen them, but I didn't try to calculate how much your PPD will be. Unfortunately, I've been controlling my impulsive buying habits from snatching a new GPU.

The 2080 I have folding is only doing 500k~ish PPD...looks like it should be doing 1mil+ not sure what is different and really i don't care enough to dive in on it.

I noticed the LTT team is in third place overall for the month of November, (soon to be 2nd from the look of things.) The first place team is called curecoin and they seem to be bitcoin miners/folders, so god only knows what sort of computing power they have. They also give out random cash prizes to folders according to their website. Anyway, I digress. The point is, the LTT team is shooting upward in the standings,  so congrats everyone!  This is speaking as someone with 18 ENTIRE WU's btw    lol

My 2070 is yielding 1.3MPPD so the 2080 should be capable of at least 1.6MPPD and likely more

if you haven’t considered it you could try sliding the power limit as low as it can go and slowing down the case fans. You will consume way less power and hence way less heat but your point production compared to full throttle will be not impacted nearly as much.

 

Much less heat means much less airflow required which, in turn, should mean less dust sucked into the system for the same gain in points.

I've always had my folding on full power.

 

My temporary solution is to move my PC out to the middle of the room while I'm away so it doesn't catch as must dirty dust from under the desk and beside the walls. Seems to work but yet to check dust filters and such.

Another 14124, what's with them all of a sudden? 40% in and I still have 3 hours left. On the bright side, it's now cold enough to where I don't have to run my AC, and my 1080 FE temps are now steady at 74C with a core clock of 2038 MHz. Pretty damn good for a cooler that blows.

Sorry about the update being late today people, I've got one hell of a migraine that I just cant seem to shift! So this will be a short update.

 

In first we have Tomerrs with 103million points! Second place is the king with 88.8million points, _Rlocke is in third with 77.2million, Jakkuh is in fourth with 67.1million and Gorgon is in fifth with 41.8million points. Dissitesuxba11s is in sixth with 36million. Ben Quigley takes seventh with 35.6million, Porina has 33.6million and palespartan is in ninth with 28.8million. Cereal5 takes the number 10 spot with 27.4million points.
