Browser on Android Tablet hangs when posting Emoji on forum

So yeah, I've tried posting an emoji on my Samsung tablet on the forum but the browser tab will hang and will not recover.

Specs and relevant info:

Android 7.0 Nougat with Samsung Experience 8.5

Browser: Brave 1.0.59 running Chromium 69

Device Info: Samsung SM-T585 (Galaxy Tab A 10.1 2016) with Exynos 7870 and 2GB RAM.

 

Just to show you that I can see the emoji button despite not bring normally visible on mobile.

 

 

I haven't tried this on Firefox yet. I will try to later today.

Unfortunately, while this is a problem, the only thing I can do is turn off the emoji button on mobile devices. The hanging is caused by the browser trying to load thousands of images at once, and while it would be possible for IPS to fix that (using sprite sheets or something like that), it's not something that I can fix.

It hangs when you submit the post? Is this the same issue that @AluminiumTech is having? I haven't seen that before actually, just hanging when selecting emoji.

Could you report this up the chain so IPS is aware of it?
