Are Galax GPU any good?

Galax stuff are cheaper because non-tech savvy people dont buy them.

I found The galax Gtx 1060 6gb edition, and it has the lower price on the market 

but im worried about the manufacturer , are they good, bad or decent? 
There's gigabyte,asus etc models available but the price is 50-60$ high 

 

And i want to know that why the price is low for galax? do they die faster than other cards, ?

I think its because if you buy MSI EVGA, etc.you pay for brand name.

not so much EVGA since it does have the best warranty service around, but definitely applies to MSI Gigabyte and so on on the cheaper stuff.

though, gigabyte isnt that expansive, windforce, from my sources atleast

galax (which used to be called galaxy) is just a division of palit. they are mostly based in asia and I 'm guessing they tend to be cheaper because of it.

kinda like the cheaper bagged cereal , same thing mostly just cheaper for some reason if you don't mind fruit hoops

So many replies, But still i'm not sure , is it safe to but galax? 

and i heard rumors that galax 1060's fan run all the time even when im not gaming is it true?

cheaper cards using the 1060 GPU either lack fan-stop mode, for example the MSI 1060 6GT OC, or come with only 1 fan like the Zotac mini and EVGA SC. I'd rather have 2 fans that dont stop than 1 fan.

But doesn't no fan-stop mode gonna reduce the lifespan of the fan?

even without fan stop mode they last long enough in most cases for the GPU to be obsolete first.
