As of now, barring poor reviews, I am planning on upgrading the 7820x to a 9900x when they are available.  I want the PCI lanes.

Everything is kind of stalled waiting for someone to make a block for the 2080ti FTW3.  :(   If the 9900x is available before then, I may close the loop and run the card on air temporarily.

Might aswell that's what I would do,  you have designed it well so draining will not be a pain in the ass.

FINALLY got the EVGA Hydro Copper waterblock.  I'm still running my 7820x waiting to see if I am going to pull the trigger on the 9900x or just HODL.  I finally closed the loop and am currently leak testing.

Can't wait to see the finished product!   I wanted to eventually hard line my NXZT H200, but EVGA dropped the water blocks for the 1080 ti.  I could have ordered one a week ago but I didn't think they were discontinuing them!  (I don't have a reference card)

Although I am not a fan of horizontal mounted cards that block looks really cool and would actually want to show that face of the block off. Awesome build so far.

I agree.  I am not sure there is a good option for vertical mounting in this case, but the block definitely looks bad ass and should be seen.

Am i the only one that noticed that the top 2 radiator fans are pulling air IN TO the case.  Every system i have ever built that has a radiator up top has always been setup to move air out of the case.  I would think that you would want to flip them around.

I have played with this with a lot of my other setups that had AIO radiators up top.  I prefer the positive pressure and fresh air across the radiator.  I only run the rear fan as exhaust.

Nice job...Everybody knows if it's not the right colour it will just never work properly...I like blue with just enough white to light up the motherboard, put up another pic would love to see it when it's lit up.

That's just the right touch... Nice job

Welp, I came across a good deal on a nice 5.2ghz binned, dellided, custom copper IHS 9900k....so back to that plan.  Time to start looking at motherboards.  I'm thinking EVGA z390 Dark or one of the gigabyte boards because of their robust VRMs.

I am also swapping the CPU block for a Heatkiller IV Pro Copper/NI.

What will you be doing with the current CPU and Mobo?

Selling.  It is too nice a combo to keep as a backup.

Dark will put you down to 16GB of mem unless you get a 2x16GB kit, but the board is SOOO worth it.

I would probably sell my 4x8gb 3600c16 set and buy 2x16gb 4000Mhz.  I till probably cost me ~$150 to upgrade.

I decided to go with 16gb of fast ram.  I really don'y need 32gb for the way I use this machine.  Mostly just gaming/ streaming, and a little photo editing and handbrake encoding.  So I pulled the trigger and ordered a 16gb kit of gskill 4400Mhz CL 18...

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=20-232-758

I'll be listing this kit for sale soon:  https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820232492

I should come out ahead money wise...although with half capacity.

CPU should be here tomorrow.
