Asrock AB350M (55$) OR Gigabyte AB350M DS3H (50$) ???

The asrock board has a 6+3 phase with heat spreader on the 6 same with the gigabyte one tho its a 4+2, the asrock has 2 dimms and the gigabyte has 4 dimms. The reason im not buying the asrock board is the amount of 1 egg reviews on newegg. Ridiculous.

If you can, return it. I fucking hated it and returned it asap for a b350 pc mate, its not a bad motherboard but honestlyyyy for about 30-40$ more u get a WAY better board.

I wouldn't suggest going b350 anymore. There's almost no upgrade path. b450 or x370 is probably a better choice.

Lmao, they are all the same but with different names. B450 has some stupid features not worth the 20$+ premium. I would always buy a b350 on a budget.

b450 has much more upgradeability. Also the stability is noticeably better.

Upgradability ? To what? Is it too hard to update bios for new chips? No. And reliability? On what?

Stability on overclocks is better on b450. It is also more developed and for upgrading the bios, yes you can but only to second gen chips. when third gen comes out, you will not be able to.

Of course it will... its the same socket why wouldnt it.

Well, if they cut off that generation. They could just make another am4 socket mobo. Like intel, you can't use a coffee-lake chip in a z270 motherboard even though it is lga 1151.

That board is actually decent. Better than a mid range b350 board, and probably some high end b350's.

Really ? I am gonna get a motherboard for the 200ge anyways your telling me a b350 with more chockes 4 ram slots and for 10$ less is worse than that b450 entry level board?

They said they will continue to make chips on the am4 socket which means if someone bas a b350 and decide to upgrade to 3rd gen they can...

Clearly, your on a budget.  Clearly you are looking at the shittiest motherboards on the market in your budget range.  So Im fairly certain a shitty, better motherboard for 5 more bucks makes sense - but not in your use case I guess.

I sold it in a different PC. I built PC's as hobby and it was a good way to get rid of it, I have had it about 1-1,5 years and in the beginning I didn't know mutch about PC's so I thought it was a good and cheap board. But oh boy was I wrong ;) I now have a MSI B450-a Pro and i'm happy with it. Good overclocks ons low voltages, stable memory, userfriendly UEFI with many options and the list goed on and on....

Fun fact: Did you know you cannot use the crossfire feature on the AB350m Pro4? IT'S BECAUSE THE SECOND VIDEOCARD WILL FUCKING BLOCK THE POWER SWITCH PINS. That's just one of the many things that wrong with it.
