The top tier X-Box is more powerful than the top tier Playstation but without much in the way of exclusive titles its a bit of a waste of money, i have a good gaming PC so i have no need for an X-Box, Playstation on the other hand has a heap of awesome titles to make the console a solid purchase.

What game do you want to play?  This largely comes down to exclusive titles these days.  As far as sales go, the PS4 has been the worldwide champ lately.
