1 Star Rating Newegg?

Hi P
Go to solution Solved by Razor Blade,

Beware of sites like that... A lot of reviewers with 1 or 2 reviews on that site which is indicative of bot activity.

Also...after a quick Google search of Trustpilot...

https://www.reviews.io/company-reviews/store/trustpilot

With this popup...

I belive these are botted. If you look in other places theres a few bad reviews, but nothing like this.

How come there's only bad reviews? :o

I've never even heard of "trustpilot" before, so I definitely wouldn't trust any rating they have on NewEgg (or any other site).

NewEgg certainly has it's facepalm moments of idiocy (and they used to be renown for killing HDD's due to insufficiently poor packaging), but overall they're one of the better electronics retailers.

For Sale: Meraki Bundle

Sometimes the reverse can be true too, companies can selectively invite people who've had positive experiences to review them on other websites in order to raise their ratings. I know we started doing it when I worked in a popular UK electronics retailer in order to raise our rating on trustpilot from 1* to 3* but it shows them as 'not inviting' people to review them.
