All depends what you are looking for. The 8600k runs HOT even at stock speeds. You COULD get away with the stock cooler, but it will be loud under load and may even throttle at times. As @TheGlenlivet pointed out, the Noctua units are a great choice, however, they are very large and may not fit in your case. AIO water cooling units like the Corsair H80i and H100i are very efficient and quiet. Again, make sure it is compatible with your case.

There is no stock cooler for the 8600K.

It's interesting that you say it's hot even at stock when I barely hit 60°C on a 4.6GHz overclock on load with my Arctic Freezer 33 eSports One. What counts as "hot" for you?

i just saw this thread, im planning on getting i5 8600k (i5 9600k if it preforms well and is not that much more expensive than 8th gen) , is cooler master masterliquid lite ml240L RGB  (link: https://www.amazon.it/Cooler-Master-MasterLiquid-Raffreddamento-MLW-D24M-A20PC-R1/dp/B075YPG52N/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1535881973&sr=8-8&keywords=cpu+cooler) good with this processor? im planning on overclocking to like 5ghz or something like that.
