Dunk system in salt water.  Let soak for 20-30 minutes.   Then power on.

Serious reply: I wouldn't Id rather restore it and turn it into a restoration project.

Took a drill to the 60gb hard drive on an old PC when I had to recycle it. anyone who manages to restore that platter deserves to have any data from 2003 thats still on it
