playstation Can't find these PS2 Games!!!

Back around 2006 I used to play these two rpg like games in my cousins house, and he never actually passed them down to me and now theyre gone. No matter how many keywords i type into Google nothing seems to look familiar enough. Im not sure if it was two separate games or the same one but from two separate files. Either way i really want to find them.

 

What I do know is that Game #1 started you off in a train station. The camera is slightly overview and fixed and so you walk down onto the rails and into the tunnel. The next thing i remember is the train crashes and you end up climbing out into the other tunnels, where you fight wolves and small purple-ish fluffy monsters called Nuggets. There's a turn in the railroad and suddenly a large purple monster called Big Nugget comes out and attacks you. I dont recall anything after.

 

The second one is more Final Fantasy style, with areas like a large white castle and a vast desert with an only entrance to a sewer system. Theres a main marketplace that appears to be in the clouds? The way to travel is by teleporting (no its not FF12, it wasnt crystals it was regular circles on the ground) and i think you play as a guy?? It might be a final fantasy game but ive looked and nothing clicks.

 

Ive spent 9 years looking for these games and ive had no luck, maybe someone else does??

That kinda sounds like the Beginning of Final Fantasy 7...

Sadly for the second game I have poor memory of, another useless thing I remember is the bg music in the marketplace being very soft piano, and the white castle which was somehow hard to get to had no bg music.

 

Maybe the first game was FF7, I'm not sure but ill look through gameplay of it to see if its similar

I checked up on FF7 and it does start in a train station, but its not the same layout. The intro of the game is you walking down these huge stairs and the train station is empty, no trains, no people, only the right tunnel is open. The art style if I remember leaned a more realistic way, much like FF12.

Careful about that, we tend to remember things looking vastly better than they actually did

For the "train station" game, the PS2 game that comes to my mind is "Shadow Hearts". That starts in a train. I don't remember if it crashes or not, but you do walk around outside where there are train tracks. I just skipped about a let's play of the opening hour and that might be it, as noted above, you can't reliable remember all the details.

Rare chance but 2nd might be dark cloud. 

 

You are in a town and you have to rebuild it & you have to go into a tunnel to fight monsters. I didn’t get far. I got stuffed when I tried playing it recently.
