What value does my case have?

SkepticalTiger

First post on the forums, but I wanted to ask regarding a case I've had for a couple of years. I own a NIB corsair 380t in yellow in storage from when I wanted to build an M-ITX and knew a lot less about PC's. I am close to building a system and wanted an M-ATX. I thought to mod mine, but after realizing they are no longer sold thought to just buy a newer M-ATX case. As such I don't see having the case as being too useful anymore and was wondering if the case might have gone up in value. I don't plan on selling it for 5x the original MSRP, but was just curious on if it's a somewhat desirable item.

you got about 15 years before somebody feels nostagia for it , and feels it enough to pay higher than it's actual value

you dont happen to be in Sweden?  I really like the case.(though i hope you arent because i have no money lol) Cases dont really go up in value generally, doubt that one has. I know the Fractal cases sell at like 50% MSRP in good nic here at least but they are very popular

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Spoiler

I paid $85 for mine (used) last year. Fortunately for you, the 380T is actually a very popular case so you should have no trouble selling it. Though I wouldn't buy ANY case above its initial value.

See what I mean about popular case? @Bananasplit_00  proving my point as I type this :D

Me neither and after some thought I might end up building in the one I have and if I need an expansion use the USB-C port on the MOBO. Then again by the time I build intel may have their 9th and 10th gen CPU's out where TB3 would be a lot more common. I figure that would allow me to hook up some type of external PCIE if I needed expansion separate from the GPU.
