I don't like all those stupid, shallow mobile-games and I especially despise games with microtransactions. XCOM ain't shallow nor does it have microtransactions -- you pay for it once and that's that. Would love to find more similar games, to be honest, but neither non-free-to-play games or as heavy, complex titles as XCOM seem much popular on mobile-devices, let alone ones that are both, so I haven't found anything else to play.

Don't play at work on the phone (cellphones not allowed), but I do play Fire Emblem Heroes on the phone on occasions at home or when traveling.

Summoner's War: Sky Arena.
I had a severe addiction to the game for several years. Spent a decent chunk of money, I now just play it casually on the bus to and from school.
 

The game uses very little data, which is important when you live in a country that has trash tier telecom. So that's a bonus I guess.

There's a game called Beat Legends: Avicii published by Atari that I've really been enjoying lately. It's like Tap Tap but with only Avicii songs.

 

Overall, I'd say it's a much more improved and polished version of Avicii: Gravity HD.

a rpg called Epiv Seven  it takes a couple resets to get a good starting team but its fun to just autobattle and get stronger.
