The_Dave9081

Installed this card today and it is not working. Using the m.2 slot at the top of the board on my ASRock Fatal1ty Z370

Nothing shows up not installed in the device manager.

This is the card I installed.

Intel 9560NGW Wireless-AC Dual Band NGFF Key E 1733M BT 5.0 Wireless Wifi Card

HELPPPPPPPPP!!!

Please and thank you for any advice anyone has. Going back to my 8xxMbps wifi card in a pcie slot. Want to free that up and get the blutooth off a usb header with the new minicard. Not to mention its wicked fast.

This may be why: Note:Even though you can insert these CRF to a standard M.2 Key E socket, they are only compatible with a system designed with the CNVi. Contact your system or motherboard manufacturer to verify compatibility.

Looks like the AC 9260 works in your board.

CNVi is not supported by ASRock Fatal1ty Z370, you will need to get Intel 9260 model.

Here is what ASRock answered me on similar question:

Please note the Z370 chipset doesn't support M.2 CNVi.

M.2 CNVi Wi-Fi module can only be used at B360, H370, and H310 chipset.

I also saw that upcoming Z390 boards will support CNVi: https://www.anandtech.com/show/12750/intel-releases-z390-chipset-product-information
