If that's the case it's up to you to choose value or color reproduction

Hey guys,

I'd like to know if a VA or IPS panel is better in a higher price range or maybe if there do not differ.

I've been looking at VA monitors like the MSI Optix MAG27CQ, MSI Optix MPG27CQ and IPS monitors like ASUS PG279Q ROG.

The information I have is that VA panels have a worse colour repoduction but better contrast, is that also in that price range?

Thanks in advance.

They're basically the same, most of the 144hz displays are probably VA anyways

Don't waste money on G-sync though.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

IPS is better than VA in almost every way. Except Quantum Dot VA, that's as good as Hi-end IPS. but that MSI is not Quantum Dot VA.
