will my gpu fit?

adzygamer15

on pcpartpicker it says this

  • The Corsair - 100R Silent ATX Mid Tower Case supports video cards up to 414mm long, but video cards over 275mm may block drive bays. Since the MSI - GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 6GB GAMING X Video Card is 277mm long, some drive bays may not be usable.

will this be an issue?

Yep, remove the drive cage that interferes with the graphics card and you're fine. If you need the drive cages, then too bad.

yup. You can still put 3.5" drives on the bottom of the case, no big deal. Just make sure you dont move the case around after building it.

yes. They arent supporting the case so dont worry about the box falling a part because the drive cages are removed.

only if it fits, you don't want to have to bend the card in any way for the cage to fit.

you can put the card side by side to the mobo to see which of the cages are in the way, then remove them. After that, put the card in. Those that are in the way shouldnt go back to where they were.

This is not the Corsair 100R Silent.

This is

image.jpeg.4d18be06201119d8044aba462475fb2b.jpeg

There should be no need to remove any drive bays in a single gpu system.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

So if I had more then one gpu it’d be a problem? looks like I’ll be fine, only using one

Yes, more than one long gpu would be a problem. Corsair lists clearances as 414mm and 275mm. If memory serves, most current generation Evga gpu are less than 270mm.
