Please don't make multiple threads for the same discussion-- they have been merged.

Should i?

i have a hyper 212x but it isn't as quiet as i want, and the nh-u14s has better performance.

I don't mind the colors :)

I may be wrong.

And if that wasn't worry would you give a 100% approval?

No idea what that means. I recently bought an NH-D14 used for 30 bucks though, that might be an option. You can't really do much wrong with used coolers.

Case and RAM, please. U14S is tall cooler. The heatsink itself is 165mm and if you have tall RAM, it will be even taller.

As upgrade, for noise issues, sure. Also sure for performance, but only if you are OCing. 212 is already good enough for non-OC operations. The mounting will be miles apart. Meaning its so much better. And I've installed both. U14S total 3 times so far.

The NH-U14S completely clears the dimm slots so there's no need to raise the fan.

@Altruist It's arguably the best cooler overall and hard to go wrong with. That being said, it would be cheaper to just replace the fan on the 212 Evo if you just need it to be quieter.

Yes, it completely clears the dimm slots for just about every motherboard. That being said, it hangs over the first pcie slot for the B360-G in a vertical orientation. The cooler can be installed horizontally and overhang the ram or the graphics card can be installed in a lower pcie slot.

Where are you shopping / located?

Yes, just like @WoodenMarker says. Though its noteworthy to mention that if you use massive RAM, namely Corsair Dominator Platinum, fan may still hit RAM in vertical (normal) orientation. Only frame, but still.

212 has plastic clips which you screw directly into fan. Look at how stock fan is being mounted.

Ny looking at product pictures on CoolerMasters site, the clips look about same as with Evo I've installed. Maybe bit more rugged and fancy.

Maybe. But you can just take stock fan off and see how it goes. I took it off from Evo because we had issue with mounting pressure and fan was on my way. Its just plastic clips which are screwed to fans screw holes, nothing special. Mounting the cooler itself is harder task.
