Note 9 Pre-order

I'm looking to get the Note 9 but it looks like they are gonna only sell the blue and lavender colors in the US. Does anyone know if that's just for preorder or are they only gonna sell those colors in the US?

It might just be for the preorder.

 

Samsung isn't known for having a lot of color choices for their phones from what I recall(been a while since I checked out the mobile device market), but I'm pretty sure the Note 9 wouldn't be limited to just 2 color choices.

I saw they had 4 colors available for the Note 9 blue, lavender, midnight black, and copper but from what I read online colors are subjected to a region lock @Crunchy Dragon

Do they list on their website what colors are region locked?

I havent seen a list but from what other sources say midnight black and copper are region locked I just dont know if that pre-order only or permanent @Crunchy Dragon

On their website they only show the two colors, but honestly that would be a bad move on Samsung's part to lock those two colors since not everyone likes weird colors. Personally I'd rather have black or copper.

Check amazon, my region only gets black and blue but amazon had the lavender version available for pre order. Copper seems to be the hardest colour to find

There are quite a few upset people posting about it on Samsung's forums. I have the blue one Pre-Ordered, personally I think that's the on I would want regardless, but I can see why some users are not happy with what's offered. Really makes no sense not to offer black, it's like the safest color and any phone should always have it by default, then some more adventurous colors can be offered in different regions just for fun. That's my opinion.
