How bad is a Sandisk X600 128GB?

I can't say I know much about this particular model, but on that old of a laptop, you won't notice much difference between a really good SSD and this one.  But it will still be lightyears ahead if you're coming from a regular HDD.

 

One note of caution - SSDs wear out and a used one off ebay may be near end of life.  That said, personally, I would go for it at that price.

Hi,

I've seen a Sandisk X600 128GB on eBay and I was wondering how bad it is.

 

Is it DRAM-less? And should I buy it if I want a budget SSD?

If the price was £20 instead of £11, would it still be worth it?

If they're both new, you're probably good either way.  Considering both are pretty cheap, I would go for whichever one is easier on you.

No. You can clearly see the DRAM package on the M.2 variant.
