Pc doesn't want to boot with all the RAM

Guest

So pretty much, I have 4 sticks of ddr3 ram that came originally with this LGA 1155 mobo that I got (with i7 2600) and I can boot the pc up when I have 2 sticks of ram up, but when I add anymore, even just one, it won't even post. I don't get any beeps, any irregular lights flashing, and nothing is sent to my monitor. Only 2 sticks of ram in a specific pattern setup, will it then post and boot properly. What do you guys think is up?

What motherboard are you using?

LGA1155 is the socket, not the motherboard

Alright, try 2 sticks at a time. Also what are the error codes?

Odd. Can you try one stick at a time?

It's not the stick for sure, I have already tried using different sticks in those slots. Including ones that worked on my older system (also ddr3) I am begining to beleive that there is something with the slot

That's what I'm trying to solve :P Then you're stuck with 8GB. Unless you get a replacement board.
