Coolermaster Masterair MA410M with i7-8700k

Can MA410M keep i7-8700K at a good temperature? Or should get a cooler like nzxt M22

It'll keep it cool but for overclocking, you might need more.

That's rather expensive for basically standard size cooler.

And despite of not so big heatsink size still manages to have fan protrude slightly over one DIMM slot:

Also 165mmm height might not fit to every case.

What case you have?

Definitely best to stay in more reasonable cooler height with that case.

While there's no CPU heatsink height clearance data it's rather narrow case.

(or do you have case/most PC parts already?)

Scythe Mugen 5's 155mm would be about highest I would try putting into it.

By looking at reviews, they are both rather weak in performance. Cool looks maybe, but nada on performance side. AIO will be better for temps. And if you setup custom voltages, then its all good.

There are some. But I haven't really read enough reviews or user experience to say if there's any good RGB one. 240mm Kraken x62 gets recommended often here.

Yes, mobo supports OC and has auto-OC feature which you should disable.
