Idk, under Steve all of their stupid moves were less stupid hardware wise imo. I used to say it had nothing to do with steve, but recent years ive changed my mind
I'd like to think steve jobs would abuse the team a little harder, treat them shittier to get things done. Like when a deadline is coming, tim cook probably doesn't threaten them enough. Looks at them as people and stuff

hough to be honest, while the Jobs era had ridiculous products like that iPod Shuffle with no buttons, I don't think their products went to this level of absurdity. Well, except #AntennaGate

Under Jobs we had antennagate, melting dgpus, overheating powerpc desktops, ultrafragile screen frames... the only difference is that Jobs was better at bullshitting his way through a presentation. On the other hand, Cook has brought the company at its point of highest popularity and income ever, arguably outdoing Jobs.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

What about the base model. He test out last year's Core i7 which is a quad core. The 8th gen Core i7 are 6 cores. I wonder if slowest 8th gen Core i7 they have will thermal throttle or not.

those are all hardware failure where the current problems are failures in just the concept

-dropping the mac pro desktop and doing trash can. Then dropping trash can and using ultrathin hardware in an all in one
-chargeport on bottom off mouse

-the touchbar on the mbp. You all wanted touchscreens? Instead, enjoy hitting hotkeys byy accident all the time

-the mbp in general. Used to be one of my favorite laptops, the new one is the worst designed laptop I've ever owned.

-making the new regular macbook while still selling the "air", which is bigger and heavier than the macbook.
-years of iPhone changes being minor

-the apple watch

-no big breaththrough next blockbuster product since jobs, unless you count the watch, but that was doomed from the start.

-you need a donggle to hook an iphone to a macbook

-i9 macbook. I mean it's hardware failure, but one test could have told you "yea, this doesn't work"

-the macbook has ONE FUCKIGN PORT> ONE! FOR CHARGING AND DONGLES! ONE FUCKINGG PORT WHAT IN THE FUCK NOT 2, 1. 1 FUCKING PORT. 1FUCKING PORT FOFIHGS[ODAIGHASD;OI'GHASD;GLADSIHG;

-osx has stagnated since and become less user friendly, but changes are finally coming and it's getting better again. Friendly reminder that stuff like multi desktops was osx first (well linux first I guess) and osx used to be more feature rich than windows.

Stuff- k70 with reds, steel series rival, g13, full desk covering mouse mat

All parts black

Screens- 3  ASUS VN248H-P IPS 1080p screens mounted on a stand, some old tv on the wall above it.

Stuff- Epicgear defiant (solderless swappable switches), g600, moutned mic and other stuff.

Laptop docking area- 2 1440p korean monitors mounted, one AHVA matte, one samsung PLS gloss (very annoying, yes). Trashy Razer blackwidow chroma...I mean like the J key doesn't click anymore. Don't forget that without Steve Jobs, Apple has decreased the usable lifespan of their batteries substantially as well.

We all like a good "bootom".

I think your dead right.  Steve jobs was a classic narcissist and they don't like losing, especially when they have an adversary in Bill gates who just sat their listening to him and giving him that all knowing smile you expect from mr miyagi.    He wasn't going to rest until he was dominant and I think when he realised he couldn't do it with desktop pc's he switched tack to portable devices (ipad/iphone).   Tim Cook has inherited the mountain, but there is nothing left to master in the market.  Cloud services/computing maybe?

Grammar and spelling is not indicative of intelligence/knowledge.  Not having the same opinion does not always mean lack of understanding.

I think that was a sensible review. They said if its a CPU + GPU process then basically you're done for.

Also that the 2018 i7 6 core may have been a better option. That they would consider over the i9 due to lower clock speeds and greater cooling overhead as a result.

I don't think anything there was not sensible.
