WATER COOLED PC NOT BEING USED

Hi, I have a dumb question, I have this fully water cooled PC but I'm not using it, is sitting in the corner of the room, waiting for a buyer, is brand new, my question is, will the liquid go bad or create moisture or something else related to the water not being looping since the machine is off?

PD/ Sorry for the English*

well depends on what liquid cooler you are using. if you are using an AIO then most likely no. Manufacturers of AIOs are focusing on longevity. although when you are using a custom loop then they should be drained every month or two and cleaned

What?! I mean you can do that but it's very much unnecessary on those short intervals. Maybe once or twice a year. Shorter intervals might only be necessary when using sensitive and unstable opaque fluids.

@DreedX

The longer the system sits around the more fluid can evaporate. Coloured fluids and especially opaque ones will settle and cause some residue.

Another consideration would be if you don't know what fluid was used you may want to keep it in the dark to prevent possible algae growth, if it was a reputable builder/aio then no need to worry about that

Okay, as you say so. I don't have a custom loop so I don't know. I only say what I heard from other people

Everyone MONTH or TWO! LOL, very few people change their liquid earlier than every 6 months and most wait between 12-18 months before doing a flush.

So not sure where this advice came from but you are just causing him to worry for no reason.
