Custom part to render screen?

So I have a razer blade stealth and an about bottom inch of the screen sort of doesnt work (renders but is pretty much broken) and Im wondering if you can tell windows to just not render that part of the screen so I can have a normal experience

What do you mean it renders but doesn't work? Is the display failing? Got any pics of it?

ok so this is kinda what it looks like. the area thats highlighted means that that area just looks very bad as in there are vertical lines going through that area but if I hover my mouse over it I can see the mouse. It just looks bad. sorry I dont have the actual photo and I cant get one right now

You can set a custom resolution, maybe something like 1920 × 960 (assuming it's a 1920 × 1080 screen normally). That will put black bars on the top and bottom. There's no way to do only the bottom though, it has to be symmetric.

Try 2560 × 1280 or 2560 × 1080. Really it's something you should experiment with on your own though, I don't know how large exactly the damaged portion is.

ok I tried your solution and it worked but the only problem is that there is a black bar at the top since windows wants to center the image. is there any way to set a custom thing for that (idk what its called) so that it renders from the top down rather than the center?.
