Want to know what country has surprisingly cheap anime prices?

Malaysia.

Seriously. I was able to buy Toradora on Ebay from some guy in Malaysia brand new and for only $11 with free shipping. That anime here in the US (the DVD version) can go for anywhere from $30 - $40, and that's per volume, and each volume only has 'X' amount of episodes in it, and not the full thing.

Another example is AnoHana: The Flower We Saw That Day. It's going on Ebay for $11 - $15, brand new, and with free shipping. That anime (again, DVD version) regularly cost around $40 here in the US.

So if you're in the market for buying an anime, jump on Ebay and look for somebody selling it from Malaysia.

Are you sure they are genuine?Malaysia frequently got scams one.

Well, we'll see once Toradora arrives.
