Asus Aura failing to start

So I just got my new Gaming laptop this past Saturday and I've had a lot of fun with it lately compared to my old ancient potato desktop.

 

So I didn't know that my laptop is apparently Aura RGB compatible for my keyboard so I tried getting Aura on my computer. I installed it and everything but when I go to start it'll say "Aura has stopped working"

And it'll keep saying that every time I try to start it. Then I reinstalled it with the directory to C:\ 

Tried it again but this time it came up with 


Then said "Aura has stopped working"

Help would be appreciated, thanks.

When you download the folder and before unzipping go into the properties and hit unblock. Afterwards it should work normally and let you install it.

Did you remove, then re-install or just try installing over top?

Also, have you checked to see if there's a firmware update for Aura?

I removed it then reinstalled. Also, I didn't.

Tried searching up for firmware updates for Aura but I'm not sure which one to use since it all looks like it's for certain devices.
