Playstation 4 Pro vs Ryzen PC

Which one should i choose for gaming at 1080p 60fps , want a very fluid experience , everything at ultra

Playstation 4 Pro Vs PC Ryzen 3 1200,Gtx 1060 6gb,8gb RAM

considering only single player games

Grand Theft Auto 5 , Rise of Tomb Raider , Far Cry 5 , Assassins Creed Origins , Shadow of War , Crew 2 , Vampyr , Resident Evil 7 , Mass Effect Andromeda .

Well a Ryzen 3 1200 with the GTX 1060 6gb would be able to drive well over 60 fps at 720p and will be over 60 fps at 1080p as well.

At 720p 60 they're both overkill. Build a PC because you can use it for more than gaming though

With that PC setup, you're looking at 1080p medium/high settings.

Imo a 1060 is plenty for high settings for a while still. For 720 a 1050ti is plenty and used cards like the 680 makes a lot of sense.

Yeah.  I got an i5 4690 also a GTX 1060 6GB. I can play all games at high 1080p settings.

i would deff go pc, spend a little more on a system upfront, and a console cant compete. Someone with a ryzen 2600/2700 or intel i5/8600/8700 and a 1070ti on up will most likely beat out the next generation of consoles in graphics wise.

It all depends on what you are playing.

 

I would argue in favor of the PS4 Pro, because you are robbing yourself out of premiere single player experiences like God of War and Horizon: Zero Dawn.

Ultra details at 60 fps just isn't available to consoles on the whole yet. The ryzen system will absolutely stomp the ps4, and it's pretty worth getting a b350 motherboard to pick up the slack of the 4 core cpu. However, the ryzen 5 1400 is really the value king, providing higher clocks and more threads. If you're willing to go that much higher, I recommend it, or perhaps just get it later, since it'll be compatible with the motherboard you'd already have for the 1200. The 1060 6gb is a great card that handles high detail gaming quite well, and it pairs wonderfully with just about any consumer cpu.
