but multiple airlines have said Boeing doesn't have an equivalent to the Bombardier C series planes and Boeing won't have anything to compare to mid to late 2020's.

Ya know, I'm kinda convinced that people don't read replies past what people quote.

I stated later on that Boeing doesn't have a genuine equivalent but still wants to protect themselves.

I really am torn between the A320 and 737 lol

Especially both painted in Delta's and American's livery.

Well I guess I also like the KLM livery pretty much similar reasons why @Dan Castellaneta likes the it lol.

It's simple but nice.

2560px-Delta_Air_Lines_Boeing_737-800;_N

It's kinda weird the back part of that engine isn't painted lol

Delta_Airbus_A320_Simon.jpg

I dunno if all their A320s are inherited from NW or what but that one's a former NW lol

I don't think I need to show American's A320 and 737-800 lol

According to my airplane nerd brother, all of the Airbus planes in Delta's fleet were inherited from NW.

If it wasn't for that, Delta would only fly Boeing, McDonnell-Douglas, and a few various others.

I don't know much about planes in general... But this one is my favorite.  I love the stealth aspect, the looks,

Oh neat, I have a 787 model that's in pieces.

Ngl tho I wanna get a DC-10/MD-11 model in either KLM or Fedex colors or DC-9 model and/or one of its variants in either Delta or AA maybe KLM? colors for @Dan Castellaneta either for his birthday or our second anniversary at the end of the year.

for myself, I wouldn't mind another 787 model but in AA colors...

Although I'd be tossed between a 767-300ER (with winglets), 777 (all variants), A320, or 737-800 in AA or Delta colors.

Or a 777/A350 or 717 in Delta colors maybe? I feel like because Delta flies the 717 and MD-88 getting models for it wouldn't be too hard lol.

I know those commercial training simulators are expensive, but I really wished there were more of them open to the public.

I thought there was a commercial style one somewhere near Tampa, FL but it's not unfortunately. There however, seems to be one in Las Vegas?

Although I'm not a huge gambler, went to a casino for the first time a month after my 18th birthday and eh I mean I started with $25 and came home with like $70 from playing slots, I'd like to think it was just the players card telling the machine to give me better odds for being new. Also in Minnesota at least, you can still smoke on the game floor and having Asthma, it wasn't a great experience but it could've been worse I suppose lol

It would be cool to play video blackjack and maybe real black jack lol

I kinda wonder if the device holder American Airlines is putting on their 737s and other narrowbody planes for PDE would be able to fit a 10.5" iPad Pro, or maybe even the big iPad Pro lol

Honestly, it's a little funny that Airbus went with multiple engines with the A340. I'm gonna guess that it was just a bit too early to really have two engines.

Back when the A340 was released, ETOPS was still a relatively foreign concept (okay, not quite but it was only 60mins max back then, not the 240+ most enjoy now) plus turbofan engines didn't quite have the performance required yet (hence the A330 being a medium haul while the A340 was the long haul) so it shouldn't be that surprising Airbus had decided to release the A340 with 4 engines.

On a side note, did you know how the the A340 consumes less fuel than the 777? (both from a L/hr and overall burn perspective).

Granted, the A340 doesn't quite have the seating capacity of the 777 meaning the 777 has a lower fuel burn per seat however, considering the average load factor in general is around 85-90%, its almost safe to assume that the A340 could edge out the 777 in fuel burn per seat as although there are more seats in the 777, on the same route, there could be more empty seats. Also, the A340 can fly more direct routes than the 777 when flying over water (due to ETOPS), which once again allows a little less fuel to be burned. However, the real kicker for the A340 is the maintenance of the engines and overall maintenance costs. Due to this, unfortunately A340 (and all 4-engine aircrafts) are dying.

P.S. do take the fuel burn with a grain of salt but from both paper stats and apparent real-life data, it does seem that the A340 is more fuel efficient.

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...

Yeah, I'm sure a little more burnt fuel is nothing compared to flight capacity and maintenance costs.

I guess that explains why even the 747 is falling out of favor.

I always thought the B1 Lancer was a beautiful plane. The 4 engines tucked underneath the wings close to the fuselage plus the variable sweep engines make it look so cool.

I was pretty interested in airplanes back in the days, used to watch air crash investigations all the time. Fave investigations were the London Heathrow 777 crash with the fuel-oil heat exchanger malfunction, the other British airways one with the St. Elmos fire and the Fed Ex Auburn Calloway one.

Fave aircraft is between the A380 and the Antonov An-225

Man, I really wished Frontier would've ordered 737NGs or even MAX's instead of A320s.

I mean nothing against Airbus but American planes >

Good thing the flight from MSP-DEN and DEN-HSV wouldn't be too long.

I lean towards getting a Blue Depta SkyMiles card unless there's a good reason to try for a gold SkyMiles card. I'd likely mostly fly main cabin or see about maybe paying off $100-200 later and going with comfort+ more often. But that'd be wayyyy less than ideal. I'd rather fly main if I can't wait a little while longer and have enough to fly comfort+. No reason to fly first on a flight that's not more than 7 hours lol. It's like 5 hours the whole ordeal lol.

I'd rather use it and pay it off right away.

Also flying on American planes seems better than French planes...
