USB Headset connection on Airplane

Dell Dorado

So, I want to get a gaming headset, but one of the options is a USB Headset, (Corsair Void Pro RGB). I am going on a long 16.5 hour flight from Dubai to Houston and was wondering if you could use the usb port on the seat to listen to music and watch movies.

I think it's only for charging and to connect your phone or tablet to the system. I'd invest in a higher-quality headset which has a 3.5" connector, and you can purchase or comes with an adapter for planes. Get one at the duty free before you leave, much cheaper :)

Duty-Free is a great idea! Thank you. I will also get the steelseries arctis 5 which has a 3.5 mm connector.
