Clearing Notifications

FunkmastaFlex

Would it be possible to put a quick way to clear notifications off of the notifications window? This has probably been suggested before but I thought it wouldn't hurt to try.

there should be a clear all button at either the top left or bottom right of the notification panel (im unsure for certain as i have no notifications that need clearing, im guessing your talking about windows 10) are the notifications all from the same program?

I believe the OP is using the red there to refer to a possible location for a clear all button.

Well, if you want the number in red to go away, just open and close the notification tab. I don't see a point in a new button as someone accidentally deleting an important notification such as a mention from LinusTech will be pretty sad.

hi.

Why would you like to be able to delete your notifications? The unread notifications are separate and marked as read once you view them.

It's nothing terribly important. I just like to keep my notifications clear, like my S9's notifications bar.

It wouldn't be particularly easy to implement, so I'm afraid it probably won't be added, sorry.

That can be spun as a bug, so I should be able to get IPS to fix that.

This isn't something that I can implement, so it would have to be done upstream by IPS. I offered to do it for them for free, and made sure they read it, but got no response, nor have they shown any interest in implementing it themselves. Sorry.
