Request CPU cooling help

ICEman15

Hi, I am looking at getting an i7-8086k and was wondering if the Cooler Master MA410M would be sufficient cooling or should I get their dual radiator. I don’t plan on over clocking it and I am really attracted to the fan by the way. Thanks in advance if you can shine some light upon me.

If your not overclocking, ever, get a locked 8700. Save money on the CPU and cooler.

But dual radiator will always perform better.

hi.

Unless you're wanting to get the 8086 just because it's cool and is limited edition, etc. then go for it. If you're getting it because you want the fastest clock speeds possible without doing any manual overclocking, then ok, but it's a lot of money for a little more single core turbo basically.

If neither of these applies, there are better value options.

Totally stock, i7 and lower, or any ryzen line, air cooling will work just as well as an AIO water cooling solution, but possibly not quite as quietly.

I was trying to keep with the cooler master theme since I’m going to use the h500m and as the mobo I wanted access to aura sync.
