Man fired by machine

Six months into a three year contract Ibrahim Diallo access card stopped working, assuming it needed replacing, he was given access by security and assured a new one would be issued by his manager. However after arriving to work again the next day, he was escorted from his desk by security, and there was nothing he or his manager could do, he was fired and that is all they knew, A new system had tagged him as an ex employee after an old manager forgot to add his new contract to the new system.He eventually got his job "back" after 3 weeks, but has subsequently decided to find a new one.. Those stupid human errors AGAIN! Please make more robots to take over every persons work they can.

 

I am a programmer so i think it will take much longer to replace my job by AI. We programmers will never create AI that can write code :P

People modify grammar programs to learn the grammar of programming languages & have them write programs... :/

If you want to create AI that can write code, then you have to create AI that can think, have logic and so on. In other words you have to creat human. And if you manage to make one then it will have potential to replace whole humanity. Skynet remember? :D

So this has... What to do with automation and AI? They mention AI a lot in the article, but... Do they just not understand what happened? Even though they wrote about it?
