I use Private Internet Access. You might see their ads sometimes on the forum. They don't log, it's affordable, and they have servers all across the world. The only disadvantage is that they are based in the US, but that hasn't seemed to be an issue as of now.

I have used it with Netflix, and it works. No experience with Hulu though.

That's odd. Works fine for me. Have you tried refreshing it? Are you currently connected to a VPN or proxy?

Can you try disconnecting from PIA then click the link I posted? That should fix it. If not, blame it to Cloudflare.

Yes, but not really. It's against the terms of service so they may ban you. However many people have done so without any issue.

Just make sure you don't have mods.

I have seen posts that P.I.A VPN works.

I haven't had much luck with Netflix on it, though I only use a few of the dozens of nodes to connect to.
Haven't tried it with Hulu as I don't use Hulu.

Most good VPN services offer a free trial before you have to take out your wallet, if they are confident in their service quality.

Truth is, there is no single best VPN for everyone. A lot of factors affect your experience such as service congestion, node distance and availability for you, node distance from your destination site. Gonna have to do some trial and error to find the best one for every new destination you connect to.

Tried PIA before but it can't get around Netflix' VPN blocks. Only a handful VPNs are smart enough to circumvent VPN blocks of Netflix

There are VPNs that can be installed to routers but only if they run Tomato or DD-WRT.
