600 dollar Vega 64 strix worth?

Been thinking of picking a Vega card for the past year now and then ran into this deal should I pull the trigger?

No, unless you really want freesync support. But even then, you probably shouldn't. A 1070ti will cost you less than $500, performs about the same as a Vega 64, and consumes less power / produces less heat.

Producing less heat might be important in very compact builds.

Although, in this case (pun intended), this is indeed less of an issue.

Producing less heat will allow for lower noise, though. Or having a smaller cooler. 

But yeah, definitely not as important as some people make it out to be.

It's for freesync thats why I want a Vega and not an Nvidia card

Drivers alone are 2 years out of date catching up to Pascal and Vega is horrible for gaming especially considering the thermals and power.

a 1070ti  oc'd is cheaper and faster
