Learning Unity 3D, Unreal Engine, C# and C++

LIQUIDFOX00200

Hello Everyone!

I'm taking some programming and game design courses on Udemy and some iOS Apps! I'm taking these courses on Udemy:- https://www.udemy.com/unitycourse2/       https://www.udemy.com/unityrpg/     https://www.udemy.com/unrealcourse/

And I'm Using this iOS App:- https://getmimo.com/

I want to extend my knowledge, So My Question is:-  Should I take this (https://unity3d.com/swordsandshovels) Sword and Shovel Unity 3D Course??? Will I learn something good from it?? Or I will not learn anything good from this Sword and Shovel Course!!

And I have completed the Section 3 of Unity 3D C# Course, So, Should I start The RPG Unity 3D and Unreal Engine Course??

Thank You!

Instead of learning through courses I like taking up projects or join a support team/trainee developer internship

Some websites to learn for yourself (free)are

CODEhunt

Hackerank

W3schools

Sololearn

Codechef

Stack overflow

For ex: a couple of years back when Iot was all the rage I heard about a bunch of seniors (in college) were asked to implement an RFID based attendance system.. I just ran upto one of them and asked of I can join.. They said 'more the merrier'. I made an rfid based reader (node mcu and arduino) and wlan data transmitter also helped on mySQL code(never touched either systems b4)

Personally I like Unity’s official livestreams though several were hidden for various reasons.

You can find an archive of old ones. Most are with Unity 3 & 4 though the information is mostly relevant.

Don't start mixing languages and engines. Pick one of each and go for it. Both are good choices though Unity is probably a bit easier with C# compared to Unreal's preferred language C++

Use the quote function when answering! Mark people directly if you want an answer from them!
