Changing from console to PC

yhachicho

Getting straight to the point!!!

Decided to change from console to PC and i don't know anything about PCs.

Reasons for changing to PC ;

Mainly for MODs accessibility  for (Skyrim, Witcher 3 , Fallout 4 & 3 etcc....)

and then for better graphics (although i don't care about 4 k resolutions and stuff)

i have a budget between 2500 to 3000 dollars to build a PC.

Kindly Help and Guide me.

Thanks

Welcome to LTT forums!

First of all; what's your location?

What will you be doing on your PC? Any video editing/rendering or just playing video games?

Im guessing your budget includes peripherals (mouse and keyboard), monitor, and a operating system?

Greetings:

1) If you're not going 4k (or even then) you can get a perfectly capable machine for far less; don't waste your money.

2) The OS refers to your operating system (i.e. windows, linux etc.); it's not the same thing as your hardware.

If you make a post contradicting mine that doesn't directly address my claims, or cites 'facts' without evidence, I'm probably not going to bother responding to it, because you probably didn't bother reading my post properly, and because life is too short. It doesn't mean I don't have an answer for you. It means I'm not dignifying you with a response.

It alse depends on what kind of experience OP wants to have. :)

Include 3 wide screen monitors and peripherals in the $ 2500 - $ 3000 budget and you've spent almost all of it.

(OP = Original Poster ≠ Operating System = OS) :P
