Looking at the ASUS website for the laptop it seems there in no available driver for the NIC. This means the NIC relies on whatever driver Windows supplies it.

The website only lists Windows 8.1 and up drivers for anything.

What OS is it running?

When did it stop working? If the laptop originally came with W8 then W10 should have a driver for it.

A tiny amount of Googling showed me "This device cannot start. (Code 10)" is this the exact message you get?

i received it about three months ago as it could not do updates for it anymore at the time the wireless did not work as well at the time.

i looked into it and this issue was corrected with an bios update (201 to 300) which let it up date to the current version of windows 10.

the windows error code is code 10 for the wireless device.

the wireless has never worked whille ive had it
