Is there any free alternatives to download youtube videos?

This is what we get from free YTDownloader (GreenTree), they claim you can get up to 4x download speed by pro version using their download accelerator. 

I thought they just try to trick user to buy pro where they just lower the speed in free version. (I have 30MB/s max downstream)

Sorry if I am poor or doing wrong things, but is there any app that perform better?
