ASUS PCE-AC88 not working

WhyAlwaysMe

Recent bought a new Wifi card as my old one was outdated and only supported 2.4GHz. However, my new one is not being recognised by the motherboard. My old one, TP-LINK 300N, worked fine in the same slot and I have not changed anything apart from the Wifi card. My motherboard is an ASUS B350-F and I attempted to put the wifi card in the lower of the three PCI-E x1 slots, the same one I put my original Wifi card in. Thanks!

No, I didn't think it would be necessary for it to work.

No expansion card works without some sort of driver.  A lot of them in modern times are automatically installed, but not all.

Install the driver for the card and it should show up.
