Collaboration software on a closed network

I am wondering if anyone has any experience with collaboration software, I am looking for an offline solution to network 7 mini desktops, onto one shared screen as well as having a small individual screen if possible. file sharing is not required but individual messaging would be useful. If anyone has ideas it would be greatly appreciated.

It sort of sounds like you are looking for a KVM (keyboard video mouse) sharing software.
