Ryzen 2600X RUNNING ONLY HALF ITS SPEED HELPP

Go to solution Solved by Henry19941994,

Okay so I got it fixed, it happened to be that I accidentally uninstalled the chipset driver.... After I got it installed again and ran the power optimization setting, the cpu ran normal again.

Hello

So I tried to overclock my new ryzen 2600X CPU, but after I have done it, my core speed constantly fluctuate from 2.2GHz to 3.8GHz and my voltage is at 1.1875. temp stays around 36 Celsius.

And is it normal to have only half of the speed running?

Did I ruined the cpu or the mobo?

Please tell me what should I do

I even tried to reset the bios but the dropping issue is still here.

This is my rig

And I really don't know which cpu voltage is correct, ryzen master is showing 1.1875V but cpu-z is saying 1.285~1.3V

Well, whatever, clock speed you dialed in the BIOS is what the correct one should be. Additionally, the lower clocks could just be power management features unless you disabled those
