Anti-static wrist strap

I have a dumb question

 

I have a laptop which I plan to open up and install another stick of RAM into, how do I ground myself with an Anti-Static wrist strap? The case is plastic and there is no bare metal in my household which is easily accessible, except for maybe the kitchen sink.

 

Any suggestions? Or would I not even need to?

To be honest, if I ain't a powerstation that day, meaning everytime I touch something metal the sparks are flying, I don't use a wrist strap... I touch the sink first, for example, then start working.

Truthfully, today its nearly impossible to kill a component with ESD unless its of the poorest quality. You shouldnt need the ESD wrist strap to do the install you want.
