The GPU i am probably going to get is a 6GB 1060 Strix

You can easily get a better GPU and a better display for that budget

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

Get The R6, it's gonna be worth the $30 more. Then I suggest you to get a SeaSonic Focus Plus Gold 650W just to make the total cost of the build the same as if you were to keep the Corsair PSU and get H440

Mention me if you want to summon me sooner or later

My head on 2019 :

Note 10, S10, Samsung becomes Apple, Zen 2, 3700X, Renegade X lol

The reason i want the 750i is because it is a tier 1 PSU, and link.

I was thinking about the RM750 Certified Refurbished (My brother has had one for about 1 year and no issues.) But it doesn't have link.

It seems to me like you could swap the i7-8086K for a i7-8700K, and then overclock to basically the same speed. You could use the left over money $85ish to put towards a better graphics card.

The 8086k bundle is $30 more expensive than the 8700k. And to get a 1070 NON TI it would still cost around $130 more
