Rumor: Nvidia is training personnel on the Turing architecture possibly pointing to a Q3 release.

Nvidia has been rumored to have started training partners on how to support their latest architecture, as reported on by Techpowerup:

"NVIDIA has reportedly briefed its add-in card (AIC) partners about its upcoming GeForce product family, codenamed "Turing,"" -source techpowerup

Which as discusses how we could finally be getting our new GPUs!  And those GPUs will likely be Turing, and those partners have also started training their staff on how to support the rumored architecture:

"The latest rumor is that Nvidia would be training development and engineering departments, which really is all the news there is today. The rumor comes from Tom's Hardware Germany where they have "unofficially learned from some board partners that Nvidia has already started training the relevant employees from the development departments."" - source The Guru of 3d

Which as stated by both sources that this likely points to a Q3 release,

This of course comes in the wake of Nvidia stating a week ago that the release will not occur for a "long time" as stated in this previous topic:

 

If this is truly the case then we can finally purchase more POWAAA to power the future of gaming and possibly even make VR a reality for more people. Because really, it's about time Nvidia!

Though after all the inaccurate rumors from the rumor mill I will believe it when I see it.

Yeah like late 2020... I'm still quite sure no Turing this year only the next one... long life to the 1080 Ti
