Uninstalling ssd with windows on it to return pc to newegg

I bought an open box pc off newegg and got a computer repair shop to put in an ssd and install windows on it. After a week of trying to get some games like overwatch working on it i am giving up and would like to return the pc for a different more expensive pc with better reviews. I would like to take the ssd out myself because i dont have anymore money to pay the shop with but i am not sure how i should go about doing this. Do i need to take windows off the ssd and install it back on the hdd to return to newegg? Do i need to do anything at all besides go in amd take the ssd out and put it in my new pc and clone the new hdd onto to ssd? Any and all help is much appreciated! Im a total newb btw but my friend insists if im careful this should be a fairly easy process.

Did you erase the original drive, if not, then just swap them out.  If you formatted the original drive, you may have to load windows back onto it.

When you had the shop put in the ssd, did they also put the original drive back in as a storage drive?  If they did then they most likely also wiped it clean, if they just replaced it with the ssd and gave the original back but not installed in the computer, you may be lucky as it most likely would still have the original windows on it.

They left the hdd in there. Im going to go home and do a clean install of windows on the hdd. After that im going to wipe the ssd clean (theres nothing on either drive i care about keeping) and then remove it from the pc. To wipe the ssd clean can i just go to file explorer and select all the files in the drive and delete or do i need to remove the partitions through the bios?
